Of course! We scrape the web for news, trends, companies, and more so likely have some version of the idea already in our system. We never inform our results by internally generated ideas though so the only way you’ll see your idea is if we’ve come across it publicly.

We crawl many sources on the web including company websites, launch platforms, databases, SEC filings, news sites, newsletters, industry publications, discord channels and more.

We default to sending once a week but you can make it less frequent or not at all if you prefer.

We built Ideascan because we love ideas and are fascinated with the ways that AI Agents can help founders build products/ companies faster in the future. We played a lot with using agents to build startups but realized the more interesting use case is to use agents to crawl, organize and synthesize the fast paced world of AI startups.

While we give three free reports to all users we do charge for generating more reports than that. As we scale up our web crawling and analysis efforts we may have to charge more. It all depends on the cost how the cost of compute drops versus our costs going forward. Lots of cool stuff we can do so we don’t want to be hindered by cost considerations too much.
